AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Former Director of Local Deloitte &
Touche Office Joins New Interactive Do-It-Yourself Home Improvement

TUCSON Ariz. -- DIYonline.com, a new Tucson-based Web
company founded to give consumers the ability to custom design and plan
Do-It-Yourself projects online, announced today it has hired Daniel
Gasch, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer. Gasch, who most recently served
as an investment executive with Dain Rauscher and is the former Director
of the Tucson Deloitte & Touche, LLP office, brings more than 20 years
of accounting, investment and IPO (initial public offering) experience
to DIYonline.com.
"We are fortunate to have Mr. Gasch join our executive
team," said Michael H. Heisler, President and Chief Operating Officer
of DIYonline.com. "We will be launching our new Web site to the market
in the Spring of 2000 and Daniel is an important addition for us. He
will be key in developing the financial strategies for our company as
we continue to grow and capitalize on the $170 billion home-improvement
market."
DIYonline is developing aggressive Internet strategies
to attract the 128 million proclaimed Do-It-Yourselfers to its interactive
Web site. The new Web site provides consumers with a Web-based Do-It-Yourself
network that allows users to plan, design, and ultimately purchase all
components and tools necessary to complete their dream projects.
While serving as Director in charge of the Tucson office
of Deloitte & Touche LLP, from 1995 to 1998, Gasch oversaw all audit
operations and specialized in SEC reporting and high technology companies.
He assisted in debt and IPOs, corporate mergers and acquisitions and
real estate syndication.
Gasch has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McGill
University. Gasch serves in leadership positions in numerous civic,
community and educational organizations. He is a resident of Tucson
and is married with two children.
DIYonline.com is based in Tucson, Ariz. with an additional
sales and marketing office located in Lexington, KY. The company currently
employs over 40 personnel in both offices and anticipates continuing
to hire personnel throughout the year. DIYonline.com was founded to
provide online Internet users the ability to custom design and implement
Do-It-Yourself projects by using the company's proprietary software
tools located on its Web site.
